Award-Winning Journalism That Builds Trust and Drives Influence

Moneyweb continues to set the benchmark for excellence in financial journalism – a distinction that strengthens our position as South Africa’s most credible finance and investment media platform.

At this year’s landmark 50th Annual Sanlam Group Awards for Excellence in Financial Journalism, editor and RSG Geldsake host Ryk van Niekerk was named Financial Journalist of the Year – the event’s highest honour. He also took home the Broadcast: Audio/Radio category award for Moneyweb’s RSG Geldsake show, South Africa’s largest business radio programme.

In addition to the award in the audio/radio category, Van Niekerk was a finalist in the consumer financial education category and named first runner-up. Moneyweb journalist Ciaran Ryan was second runner-up in the same category.

Adding to the celebration, Moneyweb journalist Antoinette Slabbert was recognised as Property Feature Journalist of the Year at the 2025 Sapoa Excellence in Property Journalism Awards. These awards reaffirm the calibre, integrity, and depth of Moneyweb’s newsroom –the same credibility that extends across every partnership and client campaign we deliver.

For our advertising partners, these achievements underscore the value of associating with a platform that leads conversations shaping South Africa’s economic landscape. Trusted journalism doesn’t just attract audiences – it builds influence, drives engagement, and elevates brand trust.

Moneyweb is proud to continue offering clients a premium environment backed by proven excellence and measurable impact.
