Following the unrest that took place in July 2021, Jozi FM CEO, Mr Mpho Mhlongo made an urgent appeal to affected spaza shop owners as the station pledged to assist selected small business owners with up to R20 000 in trading stock as part of its #KasiSpazaShopRevival initiative.
Fast forward to now and the station has been unveiling the newly refurbished spaza shops where upgrades of well over R80 000-R100 000 per store (including trading stock of R20K) have been provided.
The first spaza shop, Jozy Snax Hub unveiled in White City, Soweto on the 6th of November.
