Algoa FM Partners With NAMPO Cape, The Cape’s Premier Agricultural Exhibition

Broadcasting across the Eastern Cape, from the Garden Route to the Wild Coast, and inland through the Karoo, Algoa FM serves a regional economy built on agriculture, trade, manufacturing and tourism. Catering to a vibrant sector of entrepreneurs, producers, financiers, and service providers, Algoa FM actively supports businesses and communities across the region to promote economic growth.

Agriculture has proved to be a substantial socio-economic driver in Algoa Country and the stations support of NAMPO Cape, the Cape’s premier agricultural, trade, and lifestyle exhibition, is an example of how Algoa FM engages with partners to strategically serve industry, business and audiences.

NAMPO Cape attracted just less than 50 000 visitors in 2025 and Algoa FM’s inaugural media sponsorship in 2026 is testament to the alignment between the station’s audience and the visitor profile of those attending NAMPO Cape.

NAMPO Cape will take place from 9 to 12 September 2026 under the theme ‘Together We Grow’.

Commenting on the theme, NAMPO Managing Director Dr Dirk Strydom indicated that agriculture cannot thrive in isolation and Algoa FM’s support to the sector backs the theme perfectly. Algoa FM’s Managing Director Alfie Jay commented that agriculture is being given much more prominence on the station via dedicated content and coverage. Strydom added that producers and agricultural communities across the Eastern Cape and Garden Route will gain greater access to valuable information thanks to the Algoa FM partnership.

Building a resilient, competitive, and sustainable sector depends on strong partnerships and this one is a perfect fit for Algoa FM’s business values.

Whether your objective is brand awareness, product engagement or connecting with the agricultural community, we’ll tailor a NAMPO Cape partnership through Algoa FM to meet your business goals.
