A recent survey of Algoa FM listeners has identified important trends and themes to help advertisers to better connect with the people of Algoa Country.
- Algoa FM’s audience are social, connected and family oriented. They enjoy watching movies and series. They socialise and exercise regularly.
- More than 25% of listeners spend their free time doing exercise and being active
- They respect family values and have a community spirit; valuing relationships, connections and brands that attract this
- Algoa FM’s audience intend to make some life choice changes this year;
- 16% (just over one in six people) are likely to buy a house this year.
- 13% say they are going get married
- More than 10% of your audience is considering getting engaged in the next year.
- And 9% say they intend having a baby
- Algoa FM’s audience enjoys entertainment;
- Watching series, dining out, and weekends away rank as the highest, whilst more than half of our audience is likely to go on a planned vacation.
- Algoa FM’s audience is entrepreneurial;
- 19% of our audience are considering starting a business.
- Algoa FM’s audience is active;
- 25% plan to join a health club.
- Algoa FM’s audience supports the green economy;
- One in four people in the audience is considering installing solar.
- 43% will be installing water tanks, and
- 26% expect to generate their own power through solar.
